SAFEchild is the only organization in Wake county that offers a full range of child abuse prevention and intervention services to children and families at no cost.

There is the advocacy center, which provides the forensic interviews and medical services for children with suspected physical/sexual abuse or severe neglect. Safechild also offers multiple parenting programs to assist parents in various stages of parenting, including moms supporting moms, which is a mentor program for new moms in Wake County. Safechild also offers the Funny Tummy Feelings program, a school-based program that empowers first graders to protect themselves from abuse.
